ART FESTIVAL 2020
Nature walk at AnnaNagar Towers Park
Children from Patashala, Nungambakkam were taken to AnnaNagar Towers Park on a Sunday morning. They were shown the presence of wildlife even in an extremely crowded urban habitat. They saw fruit eating bats, butterflies, herons, sunbirds, barbets and several species of flora. The childern were so involved in the trip and documented their observations for their classroom presentation.
Nature walk at Theosophical Society
Children from Patashala, Nungambakkam were taken to the Theosophical Society, Chennai on a Sunday afternoon. They were introduced to the wilderness present and the eco-system inside the campus. Besides the diverse species of flora brought from many different part of the world, the children explored the bird and animal life present in the place. The children were so involved in the trip and documented their observations for their classroom presentation.
Nature Walk at SVCE
Students of Sri Venkateswara College of Engineering were taken on a nature walk inside their campus. The event allowed its participants to explore the bio-diversity of the campus. The students were so enthusiastic about the abundant bird life present in the campus. Many of them turned to be EMAI’s volunteers ever since then.
